Africa deserves African solutions to its infrastructure situation. Infrastructure availability is a challenge which not only affects our personal, individual lives, but rather a challenge whose impact can keep a country hostage and a nation from reaching its potential We can see this right here on African soil.
In addition to its traditional goals and objectives, BasCon, through its South African project arm, has set itself the vision of creating sustainable, societal upliftment through the provision of innovative, african infrastructure solutions. Our partnership approach revolves around enabling local expertise to participate throughout the cycle and in regional markets / tenders.
BASCON has strategically positioned itself to not only supply to this demand, but to do so bringing holistic, African solutions to the table. At its core, BASCON is rooted in the believe that Africa deserves African solutions.
BASCON has set itself the vision of creating sustainable, societal upliftment through the provision of innovative, African solutions in the infrastructure space. Our partnership approach revolves around combining expertise and knowledge with localised content & ensuring that all stakeholders benefit and have their needs heard & addressed.
The main objectives for BasCon are:
BASCON was originally conceived as a concept by Ansawise Investment Holdings (AIH) and its partners as a result of various fact finding missions, networks, travels and several business engagements.
Together with Ansawise, BASCON’s key stakeholders agreed to pursue opportunities in the infrastructure and construction industries in Africa and to drive the realisation of Africa’s potential.
Its potential is rooted in the realisation that the existence of infrastructure allows countries and nations to thrive, and construction forms hence part of the backbone of a growing economy and national progress.
Having partnered with entities providing complementary skill sets, Ansawise & BASCON’s key individuals have established BASCON as an African player in the continents construction and infrastructure industries.
BASCON is exploring opportunities in and around South- & Sub-Saharan Africa in civil engineering, infrastructure and commercial construction. For these opportunities, BASCON intends to establish local entities to drive the conceptualisation, realisation & operation of the projects.
Through the involvement of local expertise BASCON harnesses regional & cultural representation, insight and knowledge.
This partnership approach is inherent in BASCON’s DNA – it underlies everything we do!
